The Changes That Will Make Us Survivors

I one hundred percent agree in today's world we should be prepared for everything. I don't know if people realize how severe it could be for us at any given time. It scares me a little when my children go on trips even though I have tried to prepare them for many different scenarios. I learned a lot about the outdoors growing up so I was able to achieve a great advantage as far as bare survival but I think it should be taught to our children as well. What if something happens? I for one would love to know that my loved ones and friends have the ability to stay alive without an emergency kit. Do you ever wonder what it would feel like to be some where you aren't familiar with and have nothing but the clothes on your back. Ask yourself,'what would I do in this situation'. Survival is the key to the success of life now, not only in business but the way you approach everything. You will find less and less people will help you out of a jam these days. The people aren't like this because their bad, it's because they have seen things happen or have been experienced bad things themselves. We shouldn't have to carry guns and knives to make us feel safe, but unfortunately it's getting that way for sure. You realize most of the adult population was raised in a home were the spankings were given when needed, our parents lived under a more disciplined rule. Now we have never lived in a crime free environment but you have to admit it's not getting better. Take a look at some of the crimes committed on the news. Can you believe that teenagers and young adults are committing these acts? It's just to the point were we as people of the world need to be prepared for anything, take care of our families, loved ones and friends. I for one want to stay one step ahead if I can. Being involved with the survival community makes me very happy and I learn from it everyday. I live a normal productive life, but yes I am the kind of guy that has survival kit and a handful of the basics. I am not fanatical about it,but i do want to have what I need in case of a disaster or a break in. Okay here's where we get to the useful stuff. I've put together a small list of things to carry with you in your car or your backpack. Now in this case we're talking standard survival needs not stuff like machine guns, bows arrows and tactical vests etc.
